If there is one Indian actor who is bigger than the Khan trio of Bollywood – Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Aamir Khan, it would most certainly be Prabhas. The macho actor shot to pan-India superstardom with the blockbuster Baahubali duology and there has been no looking back ever since then. His subsequent film after Baahubali, Saaho put on a pretty good show at the box office in the North Indian circuit despite registering lukewarm reviews. This showed that Prabhas is one true superstar who commands exquisite box office pull all across the country.
Now, Prabhas has lined up so many pan-India biggies that no Indian actor, including the Bollywood Khans, is even remotely close to him. Prabhas’s immediate next release Radhe Shyam is likely to commence Prabhas’s supremacy in the pan-India market. The film hits the silver screens on the 14th of January next year and it will be followed by Adipurush, which is relating on the 11th of August next year. Adipurush is riding sky high on buzz already and it is expected to boost Prabhas’s pan-India prospects further.
Then come Salaar, Project K, Spirit, and an action adventure with Siddharth Anand. All of these projects are pan-India biggies. As per reports, Prabhas is pocketing somewhere around Rs 1500 crores just from the remuneration and share in profits of these projects. This is an astonishing number and no other Indian actor has ever touched this mark till now. This shows the kind of craze Prabhas currently enjoys. Given his box office pull, top production houses are running after Prabahs and are ready to offer him whopping paychecks to sign him for their projects.
Through the course of the next 4 years, Prabahs has lined up as many as 5 pan-India biggies. The interesting thing is that the cumulative budget of these projects will be in upwards of Rs 2000 crores. If the majority of these films click at the box office, Prabhas will be reigning supreme in the pan-India market. Moreover, the makers of Prabhas’s Spirit, a Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial have announced that the film will be releasing in international languages as well.
