Pan-India star Prabhas is currently associated with multiple high-profile projects, but several of them appear to be facing unexpected delays. While fans are eagerly awaiting updates, the timelines for these much-anticipated films remain uncertain.
One such project, The Raja Saab, has been facing delays with no official word yet on its release date. On the other hand, the sequel to the blockbuster Salaar is also on hold, with production expected to commence only after a considerable gap.
Among the most talked-about projects are Spirit, to be directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and Kalki 2, the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD, helmed by Nag Ashwin. Though Spirit was initially expected to go on floors by the end of the year, recent reports suggest that its launch may be pushed further.
Director Nag Ashwin, who recently visited Tirupati with his family, provided an update on Kalki 2. Speaking to the media after visiting the Lord Balaji temple, he confirmed that the scripting process is currently underway. “The script work is in progress. The project will hit the floors based on when we finish the script. However, we are aiming to begin by the year’s end,” said the director, indicating a delay in the film’s production timeline.
While major projects are facing uncertainties, Prabhas is quietly wrapping up the shoot of Fauzi, a lesser-known but keenly followed project. Industry buzz also hints that the actor might reunite with the same team for another collaboration soon.
With four major films—The Raja Saab, Salaar 2, Spirit, and Kalki 2—currently in various stages of development and delay, Prabhas continues to keep his fans intrigued, even as anticipation builds around his upcoming releases.
