In a tragic incident, a fan of Prabhas, named Challa Koteshwa Rao, was electrocuted to death while putting up a banner for the actor’s recently released Radhe Shyam at Palnadu Imax Cinema Hall in Karampudi.
After learning about this unfortunate incident, Prabhas has come forward to help the family of the deceased by providing financial assistance of Rs 2 lakh. To this extent, the deceased’s wife, Pichamma received the amount through a bank transfer.
As the victim belonged to a poor family, Karampudi Mandal Prabhas fans and distributors brought the issue to the attention of Prabhas and the actor credited the amount in the bank account.
Prabhas’ office sources said that the family of the deceased will be taken care of in all possible ways.
Radhe Shyam, directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, features Prabhas as palmist Vikramaditya and Pooja Hegde as Dr Prerana. Produced by UV Creations, the film received mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike.
