Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has long been gearing up for his ambitious project Spirit, starring Prabhas in the lead role. While the film was initially expected to begin earlier this year, it experienced a nearly six-month delay due to Prabhas’ health concerns.
The pan-India star had requested extra time to fully recover from a knee injury and return to top physical form before diving into the physically intense role. Now, with his health fully restored and fitness levels at their peak, Prabhas is back in action and looking better than ever.
He has also resumed and is now wrapping up the final schedule of his other film, The Raja Saab, which is nearing completion. According to sources, there are no further delays expected for Spirit, and production is now firmly locked in to begin this September.
In Spirit, Prabhas will be seen in a powerful and intense avatar as a police officer, a role that promises to showcase a new dimension of his acting prowess. Adding to the excitement, Triptii Dimri, who recently garnered national acclaim, is making her Telugu debut as the female lead.
With Sandeep Reddy Vanga at the helm and Prabhas back in full form, Spirit is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated films in Indian cinema right now.
