Popular Tollywood comedian Fish Venkat, known for his memorable comic roles in films like Aadi, Gabbar Singh, Mirapakay, and DJ Tillu, is currently in a critical condition due to severe kidney-related health issues. The actor has been undergoing dialysis for the past nine months, but his condition deteriorated recently, prompting his family to admit him to a private hospital in Hyderabad, where he is now on a ventilator.
Doctors have stated that a kidney transplant is the only way to save his life, with the procedure and post-operative care expected to cost around ₹50 lakh.
In this moment of crisis, Fish Venkat’s daughter Sravanthi made a heartfelt appeal to the public, seeking both financial support and a kidney donor. She revealed that her blood type does not match her father’s, and though Venkat’s brother is a match, he is medically unfit to donate.
Responding with compassion, Pan-India superstar Prabhas has come forward to support the ailing actor. Upon learning of the situation, Prabhas’s team immediately reached out to the family and assured them of full financial assistance for the transplant and associated treatment costs.
“Prabhas’s assistant called and asked us to find a donor. They assured us that all the medical expenses would be taken care of,” said Sravanthi, expressing immense gratitude to the actor for his timely generosity.
This is yet another example of Prabhas’s off-screen humility and kindness. The Baahubali star has a history of quietly supporting technicians and artists in need, earning admiration not just for his on-screen presence but also for his off-screen humanity.
As Fish Venkat’s family continues their search for a suitable donor, his wife and daughter have renewed their appeal to the public to come forward and help save his life. Fans and well-wishers across the Telugu states are praying for his speedy recovery, and the film industry is once again united in showing that its strength lies not just in storytelling, but in solidarity.
