The director of Prabhas’s upcoming project Adipurush, Om Raut stated that the Bahubali star will be undergoing a physical transformation to play Prabhu Ram in the film.
“Prabhas will be undergoing a makeover as he should be resembling the looks of an archer in Adipurush. This role cannot be confused for a warrior. Prabhas is the only person who came to my mind while envisioning the protagonist in Adipurush,” he said.
Om Raut went on to say that Prabhas will be consulting with multiple archery experts in order to prepare for his role.
Adipurush will be hitting the floors from January next year and is expected to be hitting the silver screens in 2022.
“Prabhas is the biggest superstar in the country and he brings commercial value to the film. He has a calm personality but can easily turn aggressive with subtle changes to his body language. This is a rare attribute and perfectly fits the needs of the lead role in Adipurush. He is apt for the role of lord Rama,” he says.
The acclaimed filmmaker says Adipurush is a visual spectacle and it needs to be watched on the big screens.
