A few days back, it was officially announced that young Rebel Star Prabhas would be teaming up with Mahanati fame Nag Ashwin for a new movie that has been tentatively referred to as Prabhas 21. The film is a futuristic sci-fi thriller set against the backdrop of an imaginary third world war.
Produced by C Ashwini Dutt under Vyjayanthi Movies banner, Prabhas 21 is going to be made at an estimated budget of Rs 400 crore. We have already reported that the film will be high on VFX since it is a science-fiction film.
As per our exclusive reports, Ashwini Dutt has allocated a whopping budget of over Rs. 50 crores just for the VFX of the film. However, an official confirmation is awaited in this regard. We’ve also heard that the makers are making plans to rope in popular VFX technicians to do VFX for the film. The makers have yet to finalize the female lead of the film.
We all know that Nag Ashwin is one of the finest directors in Tollywood and we wish he will come up with something out of the box content. Let us wait and see how Prabhas will be shown in the film. The film’s regular shoot may start in November and the makers are planning to release the film in Telugu, English, Hindi and other languages.
On the other hand, Prabhas is busy with the shooting of his next film which is being directed by Radha Krishna Kumar. Pooja Hegde will be seen as the female lead in the film.
