Superstar Mahesh Babu is joining forces with visionary filmmaker SS Rajamouli for the much-anticipated SSMB 29. While the film has been widely promoted as a globe-trotting action-adventure set against a forest backdrop, fresh reports suggest that its storyline delves even deeper, intertwining elements of Indian history and mythology.

According to the latest buzz, the core conflict of SSMB 29 originates in the ancient city of Kashi. The film is said to explore a divine past that eventually leads to an intense action-adventure unfolding in present-day forests. Since shooting in Kashi and recreating its historical essence is challenging, the makers are reportedly building an elaborate set in Hyderabad to depict the ancient city.
