Pradeep Ranganathan, who scored back-to-back hits with Love Today and Dragon, is all set to entertain audiences this Diwali with his upcoming film Dude. Produced by the renowned Mythri Movie Makers, the film also marks the directorial debut of Keerthiswaran. Ahead of its release, producers Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravishankar shared some insights about the project.
The producers described the story as fresh and highly engaging, filled with both fun and emotional moments.
“It has beautiful moments, including emotional ones. Often, you can predict how a film will unfold in the second half, but this movie will surprise you. It goes beyond expectations. You’ll walk away feeling you’ve experienced a high-quality film,” they said.
They also expressed pride in how smoothly the production went, noting that it was completed on time and within budget.
“The entire process was smooth, and it’s a profitable venture. In Telugu, we’ve previously delivered films like Mathu Vadalara, Chitralahari, and Gang Leader under similar circumstances.”
The producers highlighted that around 20 minutes of the film will be particularly emotional.
“The emotions are balanced perfectly with the story. Dude is a fitting title, and we’re confident it will resonate with Telugu audiences just as strongly as with Tamil viewers. It’s a film that truly connects with emotions.”
Finally, they extended their best wishes to other films releasing during the festive season, expressing hope for a successful Diwali at the box office.
