The makers of director Sujeeth’s highly anticipated action spectacle, They Call Him OG, starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead, thrilled fans on Thursday by unveiling Prakash Raj’s character look and name.

DVV Entertainment, the production house behind the film, shared on social media:
“Here’s the versatile force Prakash Raj in #OG. #TheyCallHimOG @prakashraaj”

The poster revealed that Prakash Raj will play Satya Dada, adding another layer of excitement to the film. Earlier this month, on Pawan Kalyan’s birthday, the makers released a glimpse video showcasing the film’s antagonist. In the clip, the villain reads a chilling letter to OG (Pawan Kalyan), saying, “Dear OG, Expecting to meet you, to talk to you and to kill you, your OMI. Happy birthday OG.” The sequence then shows him attacking victims with a baseball bat, while Pawan Kalyan wields a Japanese Katana, promising intense and gripping action.

Fans have been left thrilled and intrigued by the glimpse, which hints at a brutal confrontation and high-octane action in the film.

They Call Him OG boasts a stellar ensemble cast, including Emraan Hashmi, Priyanka Arul Mohan, Prakash Raj, and Sriya Reddy, with DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari producing under the DVV Entertainment banner. The film features cinematography by Ravi K. Chandran ISC and Manoj Paramahamsa ISC, with editing by Navin Nooli.

Titled cryptically after its lead and carrying the tagline, “They Call Him OG,” the film promises a full-blown spectacle of mass, mystique, and madness. Fans are especially excited to see Pawan Kalyan wield a Katana again.

Originally slated for a September 27 release last year, the film faced delays but is now scheduled to hit theaters worldwide on September 25 this year, almost a year later.
