Prasanth Varma continues to push the boundaries of Indian cinema with his ambitious projects. After delivering the country’s first original superhero film, HanuMan, he is now set to unveil an even bigger spectacle — Adhira.
The film marks the superhero debut of Kalyan Dasari, who steps into the titular role of Adhira. The project is produced by Riwaz Ramesh Duggal of RKD Studios, created by Prasanth Varma, and directed by Sharan Koppisetty. The shoot is currently underway.
Sharing screen space with Kalyan is the versatile SJ Suryah, portraying an intense, almost mythical antagonist. His character poster has already created a buzz: amidst a fiery volcanic backdrop, Suryah emerges as a demonic force with curled horns, exuding raw terror. Kneeling before him but radiating determination is Adhira — armored to perfection, eyes blazing with unstoppable resolve. The poster captures the epic clash of power and evil that defines the film.
Positioned as the next milestone in the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU), Adhira promises heart-stopping stunts, visually spectacular sequences, and the adrenaline rush of a superhero saga brought to life on the big screen. With Shivendra’s cinematography adding visual grandeur, Sri Charan Pakala’s music elevating the action, and Sri Nagendra Tangela’s production design immersing viewers in the world of Adhira, the film is shaping up to be a cinematic spectacle.
While more cast and crew details are yet to be revealed, the excitement around Adhira is only just beginning.
