Renowned Bollywood producer Prerna Arora, known for backing several sensational hits, is stepping into Telugu cinema with Sudheer Babu’s upcoming film Jatadhara. Directed by Venkat Kalyan and Abhishek Jaiswal, the film is all set to hit theatres on November 7th.
Calling Jatadhara a “true pan-India project,” Prerna said, “The film blends family emotions, mythology, and supernatural elements while offering a grand visual experience. With its universal storyline, we decided to release it in both Telugu and Hindi.”
Expressing her admiration for the lead actor, she shared, “I’m thrilled that my first Telugu film is with Sudheer Babu. He’s an exceptionally hardworking and passionate actor. The movie features several challenging sequences, and he performed them all with dedication. His performance will surely leave a lasting impression on the audience.”
Speaking about Sonakshi Sinha’s role, Prerna praised her as “a brilliant performer” perfectly suited for the Dhana Pisachi character. “Sonakshi wore heavy costumes and went through intense preparation before filming. Her chemistry with Sudheer Babu, especially in the high-octane action sequences, will entertain viewers thoroughly,” she added.
Sharing insights on the story’s inspiration, Prerna explained, “The narrative draws heavily from mythological elements, particularly the Naga Bandham at the Anantha Padmanabhaswamy Temple. Being a devotee of Lord Venkateswara, I found great inspiration there. The film explores mystical themes like divine forces and black magic, which will keep audiences intrigued.”
