TDP senior leader Devineini Umamaheswara Rao’s brother Chandrasekhar locking up the party office here caused sensation in political circles. The TDP office brought a rift in the combined family.
Chandra Sekhar has joined YSR Congress sometime back. But later reports said he left the party and joined TDP. However, now he is again in YSR Congress say sources.
TDP office is in a building jointly owned by Uma and his brother. When Chandrasekhar locked the office, Uma was not in town. Chandrasekhar said Uma has no authority to have TDP office in the property jointly owned by them. He said he was locking the office as a protest against his brother not giving him his share of the joint property and his highhanded attitude. He also complained that Uma was not even giving him his share of income from the properties of the joint family.
