Nagarjuna and Ram Gopal Varma’s cult classic Shiva provided first break for the actor-director duo and inspired many to choose direction as profession.

Puri Jagannadh who was assistant director for the film played a small role as Nag’s classmate in Hindi version.

Currently, while Nagarjuna is busy with Wild Dog, Puri is directing Vijay Deverakonda in a Pan India film.
