Director Puri Jagan is another synonym for sensationalism after the likes of Ram Gopal Varma and Anurag Kashyap. And for the first time ever, this talented director is coming up with a short film for reasons unknown.
Titled “Hug”, this time Puri is focusing on environment and human bonding, connection and something else as well. In the first look poster of the short film release, a woman is seen hugging a tree and she’s completely nude. And she seems like a foreign beauty. We hear that Hyderabad based Kathak dancer of Russian origin, Katerina Krivenko played a crucial role in this film.
“My first short film #HUG shall be released on 31st Dec 2017 at 10 am, get ready for this one”, posted Puri Jagan, revealing nothing about the movie.
While the music for this short is composed by Sandeep Chowta, it has Junaidh Siddiqui editing it while Anil Paduri took care of visual effects. The film is produced by the director’s own company Puri Connects.
