We already reported that director Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Deverakonda are teaming up again after Liger. It is heard that Bollywood diva Janhvi Kapoor has been approached to play the leading lady opposite the Arjun Reddy actor in this yet to be announced project.
The latest update we hear is that Puri Jagannadh had narrated Jana Gana Mana script to Vijay, and the latter gave his nod for the film. It is known that the director had penned this script, keeping Superstar Mahesh Babu in mind. However, Puri failed to materialize the film with the Sarkaru Vaari Paata actor.
But it appears like Vijay Deverakonda trusted the director and his capabilities after working with the latter in Liger and he agreed to star in it. As per a source, the shooting of Jana Gana Mana will begin in March this year.
Meanwhile, the director-actor duo is currently busy with their upcoming Telugu-Hindi bilingual film Liger, which also stars Ananya Panday.
