PVP Hounds Out Cops With His Dogs!

Noted industrialist, film producer and YSRCP leader Potluri Vara Prasad (PVP), who has been facing a criminal case for alleged trespass into the adjacent house at Banjara Hills, has been involved in yet another controversy.

On Monday, PVP allegedly hounded out the police officials by instigating his ferocious dogs to attack them so as to avoid being arrested in the trespass case.

A team of policemen from Banjara Hills police led by sub-inspector Harish Reddy went to PVP’s residence at Road No. 14, to take him into custody.

However, PVP refused to surrender to the police. Instead, he rushed his aggressive dogs towards the police to attack them.

The frightened policemen ran out for their safety. Harish Reddy later lodged a complaint with Jubilee Hills police on the alleged attack by PVP.

The Jubilee Hills police booked a case against the industrialist under Section 353 of the Indian Penal Code.

It may be mentioned that the Banjara Hills police booked cases against PVP under several sections including alleged trespass, criminal intimidation and destruction of property, based on a complaint registered by a citizen Vikram Kailash.

In his complaint, Kailash said PVP, along with 15 people, came to his residence under construction at Road No. 14 in Banjara Hills and tried to stall the construction, besides manhandling him.

Apparently, the house is being constructed right adjacent to PVP’s residence and the latter objected to the same stating that it was affecting the elevation of his bungalow.

According to sources, PVP was not in Hyderabad when the Banjara Hills police went to his residence on Monday morning.

“He had already moved to Vijayawada soon after the clashes with Kailash. May be, some caretakers of the house might have sent the dogs to attack the cops,” sources said.
