In the world of showbiz, past controversies often resurface when success strikes—and that’s exactly what’s happened with acclaimed music composer Radhan. Known for his soulful work in Andala Rakshasi and the recent hit Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty, Radhan’s name has once again been linked to his long-standing fallout with Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
After years of staying quiet on the matter, Radhan has finally addressed the issue in a composed and dignified manner. “My only goal is to deliver good music, no matter what the filmmaker’s personality is like,” he stated. Reflecting on his varied experiences, he added, “Working with Anudeep, for instance, was peaceful and smooth—he’s very calm and soft-spoken. But I don’t expect every director to be the same. My responsibility is to the film, and I always give my best.”
Despite the creative differences, Radhan expressed pride in being part of Arjun Reddy, calling it a milestone project and praising Sandeep Vanga’s directorial brilliance.
On the other side, Sandeep Vanga didn’t mince words in a recent interview either. He described Radhan as “difficult to work with” and admitted it required a lot of patience to get through the project. Nevertheless, Arjun Reddy went on to become a cult classic, grossing nearly ₹50 crores on a modest ₹5 crore budget, and later inspired successful remakes like Kabir Singh and Adithya Varma.
Now promoting his latest project Bhaje Vaayu Vegam, Radhan seems to have moved on from the past and is channeling his energy entirely into music. With a calm outlook and a focus on creativity, the composer is all about letting his work speak for itself.
