RGV Hails Dhurandhar 2, Takes Subtle Dig at Yash’s Toxic
When Ram Gopal Varma praises a film, star, or filmmaker, he does it without holding back—and often at great length. He famously showered accolades on SS Rajamouli during Baahubali and RRR, even comparing him to legendary directors like James Cameron and Steven Spielberg. During the KGF craze, RGV declared Yash as one of the biggest stars in Indian cinema. He has also praised Vijay Deverakonda after Arjun Reddy and called Sandeep Reddy Vanga the best director following Animal.
Now, RGV seems completely captivated by director Aditya Dhar. Over the past few days, he has been actively posting about Dhar’s Dhurandhar, which is reportedly tearing up the box office.
What caught everyone’s attention, however, was his subtle jab at Yash’s upcoming film Toxic while lauding the sequel, Dhurandhar 2. Interestingly, both films are set to clash at the box office on March 19, 2026. In his latest tweet, RGV remarked that the “bite” of Dhurandhar 2 itself would be “toxic,” hinting that Yash’s film may struggle to withstand the storm expected from the sequel.
