Tollywood’s Most Successful director, SS Rajamouli had just made the costliest film ever in Tollywood history with Baahubali. Now he is trying all the tricks in the trade to make it a profitable venture.
The movie is already being sold for more than the highest collected films in every area meaning that the film should cross all the existing records to be a breakeven. Besides their efforts to make the movie with good content and quality, the makers are batting for a ticket price hike.
They have already put a proposal to both the governments in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are waiting for their approval. If they manage to get the nod of the governments, the ticket prices would go up from Rs.150 to Rs.250 in multiplexes.
For single screens, the price hike would be applicable for weekends only. ?However this is not so easy as governments may face public ire with such hikes.
