Why Boyapati Srinu Still Has Producers Lining Up Despite Recent Setback

Even after the disappointing result of Akhanda 2, many might assume that director Boyapati Srinu’s market would slow down. But surprisingly, the opposite seems to be happening.
In Tollywood, at least two to three producers are reportedly approaching Boyapati with strong interest, requesting him to helm their next projects. Each producer is using their own network, influence, and strategies to convince him. While discussions are ongoing, nothing has been finalized yet.
The bigger question remains — which hero will come on board? That decision appears to be secondary for now. Producers are ready with investments and are simply waiting for clarity on the casting front.
Interestingly, financially strong individuals who aspire to launch themselves as heroes are said to be particularly eager to collaborate with Boyapati. Earlier, Gali Janardhan Reddy’s son, Keerthi Reddy, reportedly met Boyapati with keen interest in doing a film under his direction. Sources suggest that the youngster is highly determined to make this collaboration happen.
However, it is still unclear what Boyapati himself is planning. There is no confirmed information about which star’s dates he intends to seek or which banner he may choose for his next project. Meetings are happening, but discussions seem to be staying at a preliminary stage.
At the same time, there is buzz that Boyapati is also considering stepping into Bollywood. A Hindi story is said to be ready, and with many Bollywood actors currently showing interest in working with South Indian directors, securing dates may not be a major hurdle.
For now, producers continue to compete and push hard, hoping to sign Boyapati for their next big venture. Despite setbacks, his brand of high-voltage mass cinema still appears to command attention in the industry.
