SS Rajamouli is undoubtedly the most celebrated director in Indian cinema, with an unparalleled grip on commercial filmmaking. However, even a filmmaker of his stature was left stunned when an unauthorized video from the sets of his highly anticipated film with Mahesh Babu surfaced on social media.

The leak occurred during the film’s action-packed schedule in Odisha, featuring Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Reports suggest that this incident left Rajamouli extremely furious, prompting him to take a decisive step to prevent any further breaches.

Learning from this unfortunate episode, Rajamouli has reportedly made a major production-related decision. He has now opted to eliminate outdoor shooting schedules for the film wherever possible. A significant example of this is the Varanasi schedule, which was originally planned to be shot in real locations. However, Rajamouli and his team have now scrapped these plans in favor of a controlled indoor set.

According to the latest reports, a massive set replicating Varanasi is being constructed in the Aluminium Factory area in Hyderabad. The decision to shift the shoot indoors is seen as a precautionary measure to eliminate security risks and ensure tighter control over the production process. With indoor schedules being more regulated, the chances of further leaks are significantly reduced.

This strategic shift highlights Rajamouli’s meticulous approach to filmmaking, as he remains determined to maintain secrecy around the film. Having faced a frustrating setback with the recent leak, he is now taking every possible step to safeguard his grand vision.
