Renowned filmmaker SS Rajamouli, who elevated Telugu cinema to a global platform, is now stepping into the world of gaming. Rajamouli and his son, SS Karthikeya, have appeared as characters in the highly anticipated video game Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, created by the legendary Japanese game designer Hideo Kojima.
This exciting collaboration follows a virtual meeting between Kojima and Karthikeya, where hints of future projects were dropped. Rajamouli had also met Kojima back in 2022 during the Japan promotions for RRR, where he enjoyed a unique 360-degree immersive viewing experience at Kojima Productions.
With early access for Death Stranding 2 now available, players have spotted characters named “The Adventurer” and “Adventurer’s Son,” modeled after Rajamouli and Karthikeya. While their appearances are small cameos, they have sparked huge buzz among gaming enthusiasts and Telugu cinema fans.
