SS Rajamouli, widely regarded as a perfectionist in Telugu cinema, is known for crafting extraordinary experiences both on and off the screen. His commitment to quality was evident once again during the grand Globetrotter event, envisioned as a memorable spectacle for fans. However, the massive scale of the event also brought a few unexpected setbacks.
Despite conducting extensive rehearsals for most segments, Rajamouli and his team were unable to test the film’s glimpse on the country’s largest LED screen due to time constraints. Attempts to do so were further disrupted by drones hovering nearby, raising concerns about potential leaks. Rajamouli spoke about these technical issues with visible disappointment, noting that the glitches could have been avoided had they been able to run a full trial beforehand.
Nevertheless, the event had its high points. Speeches by Vijayendra Prasad and MM Keeravani electrified the atmosphere, building immense anticipation for the film. Host Suma, along with Rajamouli himself, did an admirable job keeping the audience engaged despite the technical hurdles and delays.
Another point of fan disappointment was the absence of a clear reveal of the film’s concept, as the glimpse left many questions unanswered. Even so, the sheer scale and ambition of the event stood out, marking it as one of the most spectacular film-related gatherings ever held in the country.
