She clarified that while they share a good working rapport, she does not consider him a friend. She attributes this distinction to respect, seniority, and the age gap between them.
Rakul explained, “We don’t have a friendship. My relationship with him is very respect-based. He’s still Ajay Devgn sir to me,” highlighting the admiration and professional regard she holds for the seasoned actor. She added that generational differences influence such dynamics, noting that friendships are more natural among peers, whereas she feels inexperienced in comparison to Ajay, both professionally and personally.
