Actress Rakul Preet Singh has opened up about the growing influence of PR and marketing in the film industry, particularly highlighting how the ecosystem has changed over the years. Sharing her honest views, Rakul said that while PR strategies may offer temporary visibility, they can only go so far. According to her, long-term success is possible only when actors consistently prove their talent through hard work and meaningful performances.

Rakul expressed concern about the rising negativity, especially in the Hindi film industry. She pointed out that there is an unhealthy trend where certain individuals allegedly spend money to spread false narratives and damage the reputations of others for personal or professional gain. This culture of deliberately pulling others down deeply disturbs her. She questioned how people involved in such activities can live with themselves and whether their conscience allows them peace.

The actress strongly believes that negativity and malicious intent eventually catch up with those who indulge in them. She maintained that she has built her career purely on her own merit, dedication, and perseverance. Rakul said she takes pride in reaching her current position without leaning on aggressive PR machinery to stay in the spotlight.

Making her stance clear, Rakul stated that she does not depend on PR-driven hype to remain relevant. Instead, she firmly believes that genuine work and consistent effort should speak louder than publicity. She also expressed hope that the industry will gradually move towards a more positive, transparent, and healthier environment for everyone involved.
