Actress Rakul Preet Singh, one of the leading heroines in South Indian cinema and currently focused on her Bollywood career, recently addressed a long-standing rumor during an interview. When asked about the strangest speculation she has encountered in her career, Rakul pointed to a viral claim that circulated in Telangana—that a prominent political figure had gifted her a house.
Without naming anyone directly, Rakul referred to the incident and clarified the misinformation. “The weirdest rumor is that my house was gifted to me. In reality, it was my father who managed all the paperwork. He was very upset that such baseless things were being said, especially considering the hard work we put into it. He wanted me to respond publicly, but I told him we can’t keep reacting to everything,” she explained.
At the time the speculation gained traction, Rakul’s father had issued an official statement denying the claim, emphasizing the family’s ownership and the legitimacy of the property acquisition.
On the professional front, Rakul is gearing up for her next Hindi film projects—De De Pyaar De 2 and Indian 3.
