Mega Powerstar Ram Charan, one of Indian cinema’s biggest icons, has teamed up with director Buchi Babu Sana for the grand visual spectacle Peddi, a massive sports drama packed with emotion, action, romance, and entertainment. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru on an unprecedented scale, the film is already creating waves worldwide.
The movie’s first single, “Chikiri”, released a few days ago, has taken the global music charts by storm. Both the Telugu and Hindi versions instantly trended at Top 2 positions upon release, registering strong momentum across 13 countries. Impressively, the song claimed the No. 1 spot in India and No. 2 globally.
“Chikiri” has smashed records by crossing 50 million views in record time. It is now the fastest Telugu first single from a film to reach this milestone, amassing a staggering 75 million cumulative views within days.
The overwhelming response has further elevated worldwide anticipation for Peddi. The song’s success is credited to A.R. Rahman’s legendary composition, Ram Charan’s graceful dance moves, magnetic screen presence, attitude, and unmatched charm.
The film stars Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, with Shiva Rajkumar in a key role.
