Buchi Babu Sana first gained widespread recognition with the blockbuster Uppena, celebrated for its heart-touching story and memorable music. The film was a massive hit, launching Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty while Vijay Sethupathi impressed as the antagonist.
After Uppena, Buchi Babu narrated a story to Jr NTR, but that project didn’t materialize. Later, he got the opportunity to collaborate with top star Ram Charan and cast Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead. PEDDI is set to be a sports drama set against a rustic rural backdrop, promising a mix of mass entertainment and heartfelt storytelling.
