Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma always talks something controversial to be in news in some way or other. For the first time he decided to be SILENT to be in news. Not Clear? Ram Gopal Varma had announced a new project titled ‘Silent’ which will not have sound in it. Over the years, the prominence of Sound increased in films but RGV still believes silence is as effective as sound in film.
He announced that he was working on the concept of a silent film since long and finally cracked a crime comedy script. He further announced that the movie will have star actors from all languages and it will also release in all languages since there’s no language to it.
Singeetham Srinivasa Rao’s 1986 film, Pushpaka Vimanam starring Kamal Hassan is the last silent film. The movie went on to become a big hit back then despite no sound. We will have to see if the out-of-form Ram Gopal Varma will be able to repeat the magic once again!
