The nation’s attention has been firmly on Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu following the recent Indigo controversy. While much of the blame has been directed at the young minister, he has remained steadfast, taking responsibility and standing by his duty.
Recently, Naidu sat down with legendary journalist Rajdeep Sardesai for a national media interview, facing a series of challenging questions.
Sardesai asked what sets him apart from other cabinet ministers, who often avoid media scrutiny during crises. Naidu replied, “I take inspiration from our Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and my mentor at the Telugu Desam Party, Mr. Chandrababu Naidu. Our Prime Minister entrusted crucial ministries to young leaders like me, believing that the youth are the future of the country. I am ready to work and learn under his leadership, and situations like these will only make me stronger. As for my mentor Chandrababu, he is a crisis man, and I have evolved a lot by learning from him.”
When asked whether ministers like Ashwini Vaishnav would also face tough questions, Naidu said, “I can’t comment for everyone, but our administration is strong, and all of our ministers are capable enough.”
The young cabinet minister’s composed handling of complex questions and his calm, confident responses earned appreciation even from Rajdeep Sardesai, who complimented Naidu on his remarkable poise.
