Energetic star Ram Pothineni and veteran filmmaker AR Murugadoss are set to join hands for their maiden collaboration. Rumours about the duo coming together for a new project have been doing the rounds on the media circles for the past few days.
As per the reports, Murugadoss has penned a suitable script for Ram during the lockdown period. Murugadoss, who directed the films ‘Stalin’ and ‘Spider’, also has a good craze in Tollywood.
His Tamil films ‘Ghajini’, ‘Tupaki’, ‘Seventh Sense’, ‘Sarkar’ and ‘Darbar’ were dubbed in Telugu and impressed the audience. Reports suggest this will be a Telugu-Tamil bilingual project. However, an official confirmation is awaited regarding the same.
On the work front, Ram Pothineni will be next seen in N Lingusamy directorial, tentatively titled ‘RAPO 19’. Produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi under the banner of Srinivasaa Silver Screen, Krithi Shetty of Uppena fame has been roped in to play the female lead.
