Ram Pothineni, who is gearing up for a strong comeback, is all set to entertain audiences with his upcoming film “Andhra King Taluka.” Directed by Mahesh Babu P, known for the hit film “Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty,” this unique project stars Bhagyashri Bhorse as the female lead and Kannada superstar Upendra in a crucial role.
The film is said to be inspired by the life of an ordinary movie fan, capturing his passion, struggles, and journey. The recently released teaser introduces Ram Pothineni as a die-hard devotee of his idol “Andhra King” Surya (Upendra). His character is portrayed as someone who would go to any length for his favourite hero. The teaser also offers glimpses of a charming romantic track with Bhagyashri Bhorse and the intense world of fan wars that mirror real-life fandoms in Telugu cinema.
The teaser ends with a striking line — “Fan-u, fan-u ani nuvvu guddalu chimpeskodame kani nuvvu okadvi unnavu annatu aa hero ki kuda telidu. Em bathukulu ra meevi” — a dialogue that powerfully highlights the emotional cost of blind admiration and sets the tone for the film’s core message.
Andhra King Taluka appears to be a refreshing mix of commercial entertainment and emotional storytelling, offering Ram a chance to explore a different shade of performance. The film boasts impressive technical work, with Vivek–Mervin composing a gripping background score and Siddhartha Nuni delivering rich visuals through his cinematography.
Also featuring Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Satya, Rahul Ramakrishna, and VTV Ganesh in significant roles, the film is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers and is scheduled for a grand worldwide release on November 28.
