Entrepreneur-turned-producer Ram Talluri has been given a key role in the Janasena Party. In an official press release this afternoon, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan announced his appointment as the General Secretary of the party. Going forward, Ram Talluri will oversee the party’s organizational activities and play a crucial role in major decision-making.
A successful businessman who owns multiple IT companies, Ram Talluri ventured into Tollywood production in 2016. His philanthropic work first caught the attention of Pawan Kalyan, leading to a strong bond between them that dates back more than a decade. From the inception of Janasena in 2014, Talluri has been among the very few from the film industry to openly support Pawan Kalyan and his ideology. Notably, he played an important role in shaping Janasena’s social media presence over the years.
Apart from his contributions in Andhra Pradesh, Ram Talluri has also actively worked for the party’s growth in Telangana. As a producer, he bankrolled films like Disco Raja, Nela Ticket, Chuttalabbayi, Matka, and Mechanic Rocky. While commercial success eluded him, he remained consistent in his efforts. He had even announced a film with Pawan Kalyan under Surender Reddy’s direction, though it did not materialize.
For his long-standing loyalty and committed service to Janasena, Talluri has now been entrusted with greater responsibility. Given his close association with Pawan Kalyan, political analysts believe he could also be considered as a candidate in upcoming elections.
