Media veteran Ramaji Rao needs no introduction. He is credited for the contribution he made to the media in Telugu land. Of late he has been in the news with the alleged Margadarsi Chit Funds. For the first time, CID served him notice in the case asking him to appear before them for questioning.
Amid this, a picture is doing rounds which shows Eenadu Groups chairperson CH Ramoji Rao in a bed-ridden state. Though there is no information on where the picture was clicked, it raised many concerns among people about Mr. Rao. We can see a strap around his belly and such rest is given only when something is wrong with one’s back.
On top of this Ramoji was born in 1936 and his age is 86 now. Despite no confirmation, this angle should not be missed as the age factor plays a big role in one’s health. With age catching up, Ramoji Rao might have fallen ill and might be going through the required treatment and medication.
Ramoji Rao is in a hospital bed and we have to get clarity on whether the picture is from a hospital or his house. Once we get clarity on this, then we would get more information about the health condition of Ramoji Rao.
On the other hand, Ramoji Rao faced notices in the alleged Margadarsi Chit Funds scam row. In his career, a Chief Minister took a strong stand in the case and wanted to probe the matter and bring Ramoji Rao to court.
The alleged scam is a big development in his career and this might have also left an impact on him mentally and fell ill. The Eenadu groups or the Ramoji Rao’s family members would release a statement on this soon.
Talking about the alleged Margadarsi Chit Funds scam, the company is accused of diverting the funds to other means. Former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar has been fighting the case for the past few years. Now the Andhra Pradesh government joined the row. The state Crime Investigation Department is probing the matter and served notices to Ramoji Rao and his daughter-in-law Sailaja Kiran in the case.
