Anirudh Ravichander’s journey in Telugu cinema had a slow start with Agnyaathavaasi, which failed to make the expected impact. At the time, director Trivikram Srinivas remarked that it would take some time for Telugu audiences to embrace Anirudh’s unique sound. Since then, Anirudh proved his versatility with hits like Jersey, and now he’s reuniting with Jersey director Gautham Tinnanuri for their next collaboration, Kingdom.

As Kingdom gears up for a grand release on July 31st, producer Naga Vamsi has kickstarted the film’s promotions, particularly highlighting Anirudh’s contribution. He confidently stated,

“Gautham always envisions his films with grandeur, and this time he shot Kingdom just as he imagined. Now, Anirudh is taking that vision ten steps further with his music.”

Vamsi also revealed that Anirudh had already watched the film and was highly impressed.

“If Anirudh connects with a film, he puts his heart and soul into it. I’m thrilled that he loved Kingdom. The background score he composed for the release date promo was so impressive that I texted him personally. He replied saying, ‘It’s going to blow up in theatres on the 31st.’”

There have been reports that Anirudh’s delay in music delivery contributed to the film’s postponement, but Vamsi’s words underline just how integral Anirudh’s work is to the overall experience of Kingdom.

The film stars Bhagyashri Borse as the female lead and is set to release worldwide on July 31st.
