Tollywood hulk Rana Daggubati will be next seen in an adventurous drama titled ‘Aranya.’ In this film Rana is essaying the role of Bandev and he underwent a total makeover for the look. In fact Rana did really put an effort for it.
Disclosing about this, Rana said the director Prabhu Solomon wanted him to look absolutely lean and so he lost over 30 kilos for the role. Also Rana grew beard and got it styled in salt & pepper color.
“It was very difficult for me to lose all the weight since I have always been a guy with big physique. I had to undergo extensive physical training to get the lean look for this character of Bandev. It has been a wonderful and learning experience for me,” said Rana.
‘Aranya’ is inspired by the unfortunate event of humans encroaching the elephant corridors in Kaziranga, Assam. Rana essays a jungle man role whose only work is to protect animals.
