For the past few days, multiple media portals reported that Rana Daggubati will be playing senior hero, Sobhan Babu in the latter’s biopic. It was said that the rumored biopic would start rolling soon and an official announcement would be made shortly.
However, there seems to be no authenticity in these speculations as Rana was reportedly not approached to play Sobhan Babu in the biopic.
Apparently, Rana has no idea how these rumors surfaced let alone being a part of the project. He did not sign any film since lockdown and rumors regarding Sobhan Babu biopic appear to be false speculations.
Rana will soon be joining the sets of Virata Parvam which is in final leg of shoot. He is in talks for a couple of web series’ as well. He is yet to take the final call on his upcoming projects. The Daggubati hero is presently spending some quality time with his better half Miheeka Bajaj.
It will be close to six months before Rana kick-starts Hiranyakashipu, a mythological drama which will be mounted on a budget of Rs 200 crores. Gunasekhar will direct this film.
