Karthi’s ‘Vaa Vaathiyaar’ Teaser Promises a Fun, Action-Packed Entertainer
Karthi’s upcoming Tamil film Vaa Vaathiyaar, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Nalan Kumarasamy, is gearing up for a theatrical release in December 2025. Produced by KE Gnanavelraja under the Studio Green banner, the film will also see a simultaneous Telugu release titled Annagaru Vostaru.
The teaser, unveiled by director Anil Ravipudi, sets an energetic tone filled with action, humour, and Karthi in prime form. Portraying a police officer who balances seriousness on duty with a playful edge, Karthi anchors the one-and-a-half-minute promo with charisma. Backed by Santhosh Narayanan’s dynamic score, the teaser positions the film as a quirky and engaging entertainer.
The cast features Krithi Shetty as the female lead along with Shilpa Manjunath, Rajkiran, Anand Raj, Sathyaraj, and others including Karunakaran, GM Sundar, Ramesh Thilak, PL Thenappan, Vidhya Borgia, Nivas Adthitan, and Madhur Mittal in key roles.
