Rare Combo: KCR and Revanth Reddy in one frame

Congress firebrand leader Revanth Reddy doesn’t like Telangana CM KCR and the TRS party. He takes every opportunity to criticize KCR, KTR and co. Just imagine seeing KCR and Revanth Reddy in one frame. You may say that it is merely impossible but it happened.

At the Hyderabad Metro service launch between Jubilee Bus Station (JBS) and Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS) this happened. And here is the picture of KCR and Revanth in one frame. While KCR was cutting the ribbon, Revanth is present next to the other guests.

How come this may possible you may think but it is a protocol because Revanth is Malkajgiri MP and route of JBS and MGBS metro falls under his Parliament constituency. The TRS government might have invited Revanth for the inauguration unhappily and Revanth too was there for a formality.

Drishyam 3 Telugu and Tamil Remakes Unlikely Amid Budget and Scheduling Issues

The Malayalam blockbuster franchise Drishyam 3 is all set to release this summer, creating strong buzz among fans. Naturally, there were expectations that the film would also be remade in Telugu and Tamil, just like the previous installments.

In Telugu, Venkatesh Daggubati headlined the earlier versions under the title Drushyam, while in Tamil, Kamal Haasan reprised the lead role. However, industry sources now suggest that remakes in both languages may not materialize this time.

One major reason is Venkatesh’s soaring market value after the massive success of Sankranthiki Vastunnam. His remuneration and market range have reportedly increased significantly, making it difficult for the makers to mount Drushyam 3 within a controlled budget. At the same time, producers are said to be cautious about scaling up the budget, considering the film’s realistic market potential. As a result, plans for the Telugu remake appear to have been dropped.

On the Tamil front, Kamal Haasan is currently occupied with multiple prestigious projects, including a film alongside Rajinikanth. Reports suggest he is not particularly keen on revisiting the franchise, leading to uncertainty around the Tamil version as well.

The status of the Hindi adaptation, previously headlined by Ajay Devgn, remains unclear at this stage.

With the growing dominance of OTT platforms and audiences increasingly comfortable watching films in their original language with subtitles or dubbed versions, the trend of remaking films has slowed down. Unless there is a simultaneous multi-language release, investing in separate remakes may no longer be a viable strategy.
