IT Raids Intensify on Top Tollywood Producers

January 22, 2025

The IT department has intensified its scrutiny of prominent Tollywood producers, including Dil Raju, Mythri Movie Makers, and Mango Media. Searches were conducted at the official residences of these producers yesterday, and the operation has reportedly continued for a second consecutive day.

According to the latest reports, IT officials are still investigating properties associated with Dil Raju and his family, the Mythri Movie Makers team—including producers Naveen, Ravi Shankar, and Cherry—and Mango Media owner Ram. The extended duration of the searches has sparked considerable discussion within Tollywood circles, especially given the high-profile stature of those involved.

These producers recently oversaw major releases, including Pushpa 2 and Game Changer, which has further drawn attention to the ongoing raids. Sources suggest that the IT department is meticulously examining financial transactions related to film production and remittance activities. Detailed fiscal records tied to these productions have been requested, and the producers are expected to provide them.

Despite the widespread speculation, neither the IT department nor the producers have released an official statement addressing the searches.
