After the super success of Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa, the demand for South diva Rashmika Mandanna has increased many times and several filmmakers are not hesitating to spend a bomb on roping the actress to their projects.
The latest buzz is that the Pushpa girl has been approached to romance Thalapathy Vijay in his upcoming film with director Vamshi Paidipally. It is heard that the makers were impressed with her acting chops and decided to get her on board. An official confirmation on the same is still awaited.
Tentatively titled Thalapathy 66, the Vamshi Paidipally directorial is funded on a massive scale by Dil Raju and Shirish.
On the other side, Rashmika Mandanna has a slew of films at different stages of production. She is gearing up to join the sets of Pushpa: The Rule, which is expected to begin its production in a couple of months. The actress’ debut film in Hindi, ‘Mission Majnu’ will release on the 10th of June 2022.

JD Chakravarthy Recalls Shocking Old Industry Incident
In a recent interview, JD Chakravarthy recalled an old incident from his early career that has now sparked discussion on social media.
He shared that during a film shoot, a heroine he was working with was staying in a guest house and had called him and another actor, Suresh, for dinner. According to him, they both went to her place around 8:30 PM when someone knocked on the door, and they initially assumed it was food delivery.
However, the actress checked through a glass panel in the door and realized it was a senior producer. Seeing him, she allegedly asked both actors to hide under the cot, without explaining the situation at first. They complied, confused about what was happening.
JD Chakravarthy further narrated that the producer, described as being of an older generation, entered and behaved in a manner the actress found uncomfortable. He said the atmosphere inside the room reflected a troubling dynamic, and after the producer left, the situation left a strong emotional impact on everyone involved.
The actress reportedly told them that she had to tolerate such behavior because the individual was a “big producer,” hinting at power dynamics within the industry at the time.
While JD did not name anyone, his remarks have triggered speculation online, with users trying to identify the producer based on the films he and Suresh worked on during that period.
