With her latest Hindi film Chhaava making waves at the box office, Rashmika Mandanna has further cemented her position as one of India’s most sought-after actresses. Producer Lagadapati Sridhar hails her as a true pan-India star, stating, “She has undoubtedly reached the numero uno status.”

Known for her versatility, Rashmika effortlessly transitions between diverse roles. From playing the quintessential wife opposite superstars like Allu Arjun (Pushpa: The Rule), Ranbir Kapoor (Animal), and now Vicky Kaushal in Chhaava, she has redefined on-screen portrayals. “Earlier, filmmakers preferred heroines to gain weight for traditional wife roles, but Rashmika has changed that perception,” says Sridhar. “She can seamlessly switch from a glamorous, mini-skirt-clad lover to an elegant, saree-draped wife, making even conventional roles look refreshing and stylish.”

With a rapidly growing pan-India appeal, Rashmika is poised to become one of the busiest multilingual actresses. Sridhar believes she will be highly selective about Telugu films, opting for star-studded projects while expanding her dominance in Bollywood, where she is already competing with top Hindi actresses. After making her mark in Tamil cinema with Varisu alongside Vijay, she is now eyeing more Tamil projects. “She’s not just a talented actress but also an exceptional dancer, a rare combination that will take her career to even greater heights. At just 28, she has already achieved superstardom and continues to expand her massive fan base, earning her the title of ‘National Crush,’” he adds.

Riding high on the success of Pushpa: The Rise, Rashmika has strategically positioned herself in Mumbai and Chennai, bagging top-tier projects across industries. “With regional and language barriers fading, Rashmika is making the most of the pan-India wave and racing to the top,” Sridhar concludes.
