Geetha Arts and Dheeraj Mogilineni Entertainments have joined hands for a heartfelt romantic drama, The Girlfriend, starring national crush Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role. Directed by Rahul Ravindran, the film’s newly released trailer gives a glimpse into an emotional and intense modern-day love story.
The trailer opens with Rashmika’s character seeking a break from her boyfriend, played by Dheekshith Shetty. As their relationship faces turmoil, Anu Emmanuel enters as Durga, creating a complicated emotional triangle that explores love, pain, and human connection.
Rahul Ravindran’s realistic writing and deep emotional tone promise a refreshing take on relationships. Rashmika shines in a soft yet powerful role, while Dheekshith delivers an intense and mature performance. The trailer also features Rao Ramesh in a pivotal role, adding gravitas to the story.
With music by Hesham Abdul Wahab already topping charts, The Girlfriend is set for a grand worldwide release on November 7, in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
