Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, long rumored to be one of Tollywood’s favorite on-screen and off-screen pairs, are all set to reunite for a new film directed by Shyam Singha Roy (2021) fame Rahul Sankrityan.
The film, which was officially announced in May 2024, has already created a buzz among fans who loved their earlier collaborations in Geetha Govindam (2018) and Dear Comrade (2019).
While the shoot was supposed to kick off last week, the schedule has been pushed back as Vijay recently fell ill with dengue.
On the work front, Rashmika has a busy lineup with The Girlfriend and Mysaa, whereas Vijay is gearing up for the release of the spy-action thriller Kingdom, co-starring Bhagyashri Borse and Satyadev, followed by SVC 59, which is currently in the works.
