Ravi Basrur, one of South cinema’s most grounded and talented music composers, has been in the spotlight ever since the success of the KGF franchise. His upcoming projects are generating strong buzz, especially the prestigious NTR–Prashanth Neel film he is currently working on. In a recent interview, Ravi opened up about the excitement surrounding this collaboration.
Ravi shared that working on the NTR–Neel film feels like “returning home.” He enjoys a great creative bond with director Prashanth Neel, and since it has been some time since their last collaboration, he is thoroughly enjoying the process on this project.
“The NTR–Neel film is going to be massive—musically and visually. The team’s input is to create something epic yet emotionally rooted. The soundscape will be completely different from KGF or Salaar. Expect new instruments, new energy, and a lot of heart,” said Ravi.
While Salaar featured a versatile soundtrack, NTR’s fans are expecting an even more dynamic musical range this time. With Rukmini Vasanth playing the female lead, a melody track is also highly anticipated. Ravi’s comments about introducing a fresh and unique soundscape have already drawn special attention to the film.
The project is being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, and with production underway, expectations are soaring.
