Ravi Teja, who carved his own path to stardom through sheer talent and determination without any film background, remains one of Telugu cinema’s most admired self-made stars. Naturally, fans have often wondered if the actor plans to launch his son Mahadhan as a hero, leveraging his industry influence.
However, Ravi Teja has made it clear that he isn’t the one charting his son’s career path. In a recent interview, he revealed that Mahadhan is currently working as an assistant to director Venky Atluri, gaining hands-on experience in filmmaking.
When asked whether Mahadhan intends to become an actor or director, Ravi Teja shared that it’s his daughter Mokshada who is guiding her brother’s career decisions. “She will plan his career,” he said with a smile.
Interestingly, Mahadhan has already appeared briefly as a teenager in one of Ravi Teja’s films. Though he has shown interest in acting, he wishes to first learn the craft behind the camera—a path once taken by Bollywood stars like Ranbir Kapoor and Varun Dhawan before stepping into acting.
