In a major relief for thousands of underprivileged families, the long-standing issues faced by the Rural Development Trust (RDT) have finally been resolved. Nara Lokesh played a key role in ensuring that the organization can continue its services without disruption.

RDT has served as a lifeline for many poor communities for decades, providing education to children who cannot afford schooling, healthcare for those with limited access, and livelihood opportunities for rural families. For many, it is not just an organization but a source of hope and survival.

The trust recently faced a major setback when foreign funding was halted under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, creating uncertainty around the continuation of its services. RDT representative Mancho Ferrer brought the issue to Lokesh’s attention. Responding promptly, Lokesh took the matter to central authorities, and after discussions at multiple levels, the restrictions were lifted, allowing funds to flow again.

Following the resolution, Ferrer personally thanked Lokesh, noting that gratitude came not just from the organization but from the countless people whose lives have been touched by RDT. Lokesh, in turn, appreciated the trust’s decades-long dedication to improving lives through education, healthcare, and skill development.

With funding restored, RDT can now continue its mission, bringing relief and renewed hope to thousands of families across the region.
