Young and talented hero Vishwak Sen is enjoying the best form of his career. After delivering a decent rom-com like ‘Ori Devuda’, he arrived with a mass entertainer named ‘Das Ka Dhamki’. Apart from playing the lead, he wrote the screenplay and directed this film. It came out on Ugadi festival and managed to get a mixed response from the critics.
The heavy dose of twists and logical loopholes in the second half played the spoilsport for this movie according to many. But it looks like the promotions have worked big time and Vishwak’s craze helped the movie’s box office fate as well. It collected a gross of 8.8 crores on the first day and the makers officially released that the movie minted 21.8 Cr gross by the end of its first week. These are very good numbers for Vishwak Sen and the mixed talk has not affected the film’s box office prospects.
As per reports, the theatrical rights of the movie were reportedly sold for 8 crores and sources claim that the movie is already in the profit zone. Rao Ramesh, Hyper Aadi, Rohini and Prithviraj are the other prominent cast of the movie. A.Ramanjaneyulu is the art director while Todor Lazarov-Juji, Dinesh K Babu and Venkat have designed the fights. Lovely beauty Nivetha Pethuraj is the heroine in this movie. ‘Das Ka Dhamki’ is produced by Karate Raju under Vanmaye Creations and Vishwaksen Cinemas banners. Prasanna Kumar Bezawada has penned the story.
