The tremors of YSRCP’s Gautham Reddy’s personal remarks on slain Kapu leader Vangaveeti Ranga could be still felt. Gautham’s demeaning comments on the mass leader’s killing in a TV channel interview has ignited the rift between two groups leading to disturbance in Vijayawada.
Following this, YS Jagan has suspended Gautham from the party. Also Gautham received severe criticism from several quarters.
Reacting on the whole issue, Gautham has finally asked the TV channel to “delete” the comments he made in their programme. He also gave a retraction that he was not intended to “hurt” any section or community and he stated that he would give a detail clarification on the issue sometime later. At the moment, Gautham chose not to make any comments as the issue is too sensitive right now.
Cops have also booked a case against Gautham Reddy for provoking a community and trying to break peace in the town.
